These 1997 pupils took a trip back in
the past and dressed similarly to the children who
lived and played in the Kimihia district in the
1940s.
The Kimihia School had a Heritage
Day in which the staff and the pupils dressed in
period costume. Classrooms were set up to reflect
past times (where practicable) and the pupils were
given a taste of education from the beginning of
the 20th Century.
