I've really enjoyed my first week here
in New Zealand. I’ve slept a lot since I got
here (getting over the flight).
I've have really been welcomed here by
the club and I'm playing with a great group of
lads, always up for a laugh and they like to
take the micky out my accent (but I was
expecting that).
The main reason I came here was to
play with one of my oldest mates, Steve
(Morrison). We played together for 10 years at
Everton and when he asked me if I wanted the
chance to come play with him again out here
there was only gonna be one answer.
I can't wait to get on the pitch and play
with him again, and the rest of the lads.

Celebrating with the team the 5-0 win over North Shore, thus gaining promotion to the Premier League in 2014.
